In the first half of this year, Victoriabank posted significant growth across several business segments, ending the period with a net profit of 256 million lei. The portfolio of loans granted to customers increased by 2.2 billion lei, and the deposit portfolio by 1.7 billion lei, strengthening the bank's third-place position in the banking sector.
Victoriabank's Financial Results as of June 30, 2026
· Net income: 256 million lei*, up 40.5% compared to the same period last year.
· Assets: 33.765 million lei, up 7.3% from the start of the year, with Victoriabank’s market share standing at 16.7%.
· Portfolio of loans granted to customers: 14,796 million lei, up 17.6% in 6 months, of which 14,499 million lei are performing loans.
· Customer deposits: 23,870 million lei, up by 775 million lei from individuals and 928 million lei from corporate customers. The bank’s market share in deposits: 15.7%. Term deposits opened online by individuals during 2026 accounted for 81.7% of the total number of term deposits opened by individuals.
· Operating profit: 371 million lei, up 33.0% compared with the first 6 months of 2025.
· ROE: 8.39%;
· ROA: 1.57%;
· Total capital: 4.663 million lei. Total capital ratio: 29.95%, and it is also the highest figure among the major banks.
At the end of the first semester, the bank's network consisted of 23 branches and 44 branches, 268 ATMs, and over 12,500 POS terminals.
In April, the bank launched the product Accident Protect, a personal accident insurance policy linked to a checking account, which complements the traditional range of banking products and meets customers' need for rapid financial protection in unforeseen situations, without the need to manage a separate contract.
As part of its efforts to expand its range of services, diversify its product portfolio, and develop its bancassurance division, Victoriabank is strengthening its position as an integrated provider of financial solutions, offering lending, savings, and protection services to its customers.
At the end of the first half of the year, there were more than 673,000 Victoriabank cards in circulation, and the number of active customers exceeded 357,000.
