BC “Victoriabank” SA processes the personal data of individuals who apply for positions at the bank for the purpose of conducting the recruitment and selection process. This data is necessary to evaluate the application, communicate with the data subject, and, if applicable, enter into an employment contract.

The data is processed pursuant to Article 6 of Law No. 195/2024, namely for the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures, fulfilling legal obligations, and pursuing the Bank’s legitimate interests.

To review and manage the application of a person interested in a position at BC “Victoriabank” SA, the bank processes personal data under the following conditions:

1. to carry out the necessary steps prior to entering into an employment or collaboration contract, without this constituting a guarantee of employment;

2. based on the Bank’s legitimate interest in the context of its business activities;

3. to comply with legal obligations, such as:

• verifying the reputation and integrity of candidates, in accordance with prudential requirements (the Bank may verify the information provided by the candidate, including by contacting the references indicated by the candidate or by consulting relevant public sources, to the extent permitted by law);

• identifying potential conflicts of interest, including those related to non-professional activities or family relationships.

BC “Victoriabank” SA may process the personal data of candidates who:

• visit the bank’s website and are interested in a position;

• submit resumes;

• participate in interviews organized by the bank, etc.

All such individuals are considered data subjects, and data processing is carried out in accordance with Law No. 195/2024 on the protection of personal data.

To review your application, BC “Victoriabank” SA processes:

• data provided directly by the candidate, such as that contained in the resume or application form;

• data generated during the selection process, such as: competition results, information from third parties, etc.

BC “Victoriabank” SA retains candidates’ personal data for as long as necessary to conduct the recruitment process and to fulfill legal obligations, typically 6 months, but no longer than 1 year from the date of submission.

After the statutory retention periods expire, the bank anonymizes this data (removing any elements that allow for the identification of the individual) and may continue to use it for statistical purposes.

Candidates’ data may be stored or processed using IT systems provided by service providers located outside the Republic of Moldova. In such cases, BC “Victoriabank” SA implements appropriate data protection measures and ensures compliance with legal requirements regarding the international transfer of data.

BC “Victoriabank” SA respects the rights set forth in the legislation on the protection of personal data. Candidates have the following rights:

• the right to information (which the employer provides through this document);

• the right to access your personal data;

• the right to rectification;

• the right to erasure;

• the right to restriction of processing;

• the right to data portability;

• the right to object;

• the right to file a complaint with the National Data Protection Center and/or the courts.

You may exercise the rights mentioned above—with the exception of the right to file a complaint with the National Center for Data Protection or the courts—by:

• submitting a request to any branch of BC “Victoriabank” SA; or
