The Banca Transilvania Group is contributing to financial integration between Romania and the Republic of Moldova by offering free money transfers

Banca Transilvania and Victoriabank promises significant benefits for individual customers and businesses, which translate into lower operating costs and faster access to funds:

• No fees for SWIFT transfers between the two banks, in any currency: MDL, EUR, USD, RON, (GBP) British pounds, and (CHF) Swiss francs, regardless of the amount or the channel through which they are made;

• Funds are credited on the same day the payments are made, provided they are processed by 3:00 p.m., for MDL, EUR, USD, RON, (GBP) British pounds, and (CHF) Swiss francs.

Through its integrated commercial approach, this initiative strengthens the ties between the two banks, which are part of the Banca Transilvania Group. It also contributes to financial integration between Romania and the Republic of Moldova and to synergies between Moldova, Romania, and the European Union,” says Bogdan Pleșuvescu, Deputy CEO of Banca Transilvania and CEO of Victoriabank from 2018 to 2023.

The two banks have more than 4.7 million customers in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
