Depending on the deposit balance, the amount of interest calculated/paid and the amount of tax will be adjusted. For interest calculated and paid to individuals, the Bank withholds income tax at the source of payment in accordance with the provisions of Article 90(1) of Tax Code No. 1163/1997.
