A checking account can be used both to hold money and to make payments, receive funds, perform bank transfers, and exchange currencies. Depending on your needs, you can open accounts in the following currencies:

At bank teller windows – MDL, EUR, USD, GBP, RON, CHF, UAH

Through the VB24 app – MDL, EUR, USD, RON

Funds deposited in the account earn demand interest, have no predetermined term, and can be accessed without restrictions

Opening a Checking Account

At the branch, you will fill out the account opening application and the questionnaire for individuals

A checking account can be opened both in person at a branch and online at VB24.

Deposits held by individuals are guaranteed up to a coverage limit of 200,000 MDL per depositor per bank. FGDSB Brochure.
