For the 2nd year Victoriabank provided a sponsorship for the 52nd edition of the Republican Olympiad of Mathematics held in the period February, 29 –March, 3 2008 in Chisinau, where 330 of anxious to strengthen their knowledge in Mathematics pupils participated.
Due to this event, Victoriabank supported the launching of a forum about the Olympiad in order to find out the participants’ preferences and opinions about this intellectual competition. This forum served as a communication tool among participants and a good informational source.
By sponsoring this competition, we took into consideration the intellectual development trends of young people, which are present in the international society.

The seminars are free of charge and everyone may come and get the necessary information for implementing their own professional projects.

1 JUNE - The international chidren day
1 June Victoriabank was side by side with children
We organised an exhibition with pictures of children from a boarding school, from village Solonet.
Ours branches were as a little museum for kids pictures.
We offered to all 57 children from boarding school presents which made them happy and brought gladness in their souls.

One hand of hElping for more hope!
Victoriabank and his staff have been moved by the human pain. They tried to help people affected by floods. The desire to give a hand of helping to this people was materialized by bringing first-necessity goods (clothes, blankets and water) directly to the bank. Because the human solidarity is welcome in such cases, the bank transferred the salary for one work day in the account opened for the liquidation of the consequences of floods.

By supporting the “Taking small steps towards the future” Festival we have tried to encourage the children for them to integrate easier in the present society and help them to make new friends.
We offered joy and happiness to children by estimating their artistic programs organized for emphasize their artistic aptitudes.
Moreover, it has been organized for the happiness of children an exhibition of their own handmade works, as pictures or souvenirs, selling them.

We have supported the informing company about mammary cancer organized by “Diaconia” Social Mission Association”, because this is an actual problem which preoccupies the society.
By visiting the Victoriabank branches, the clients have received useful information about mammary cancer prevention methods.
Victoriabank visitors received an apple with a small informative booklet about mammary cancer prevention method.
